Herbal Essences announces their Summer line
Vanessa Byrne, Daragh Hayes Sinead Farrell, Anne Marie Curneen & Julian Benson
Herbal Essences announced their exciting plans and upcoming launches for the summer in AKA, Wicklow Street on March 5th. The tranquil setting was completely transformed into a botanical paradise by Dublin’s leading flower stylists Appassionata. Invited guests entered through an ivy and fuschia gloriosa ‘curtain’ and travelled down a candle lit staircase to be greeted by the soothing sounds of DJ Anya Stafford and the tantalizing aromas from the pampering zones.

Guests were treated to a night of indulgent bliss with specially designated zones. Celeb Beauty Therapist Gillian Fox was on hand to give Indian head and shoulder massages in the aromatherapy corner. Hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons gave tips on speedy up-styles and summer hair trends in the Hair Analysis zone. Angela Gallagher applied this season’s must have accessory – Lash Extensions. Make-up Artists and Nail Technician’s were on hand to treat guests to mini makeovers.
Guests included Michelle McGrath, Julian Benson, Ronan McCormack, , Tara Leniston, Brendan Scully, Dearbhla Hogan and Derrick Carberry to name but a few…

Busy Wednesday
While the fashion lovers where in the big top of Fossets watching the Arnotts Fashion Show on Tuesday the bscene crew headed down to Dublin’s Porterhouse for the launch of Stout Festival where wonderful Fiona greeted everyone as always with a smile.
As we had stopped off for a quick bite most the action had already taking place by the time we got there but a good catch up was had with Fiona and the very funny Melaine Finn.
Last night Herbal Essences threw a bash in AKA of Wicklow Street.

Socs in the City

Monday night the bscene people headed west to lend their support to the Rotaract NUL Galway fashion show ‘Socs in the City’ in aid of Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
Held in the Radisson Hotel this event saw all of Galway’s young trendy crowd lend their support to a very worth while cause.

The Moulin Rouge inspired show fused elements of fashion, dance, music for over two hours displaying fashions from Miss Selfridge, Elvery’s , Debenhams, Tommy Hillfiger and Origin to name but a few. Well done to all the crew who have worked for months in making it a memorable night.
Special guests on the evening leading their support where fashion designers Jennifer Rothwell & Heather Finn, one of the Bscene directors Sean Montague and bscene model & talent scout Dearbhla Hogan. One of bscene’s newer signings Aoife Broderick also took part in the show and looked like she had been on catwalks all her life.
Following a very successful show the party moved on to a wrap party in Karma nightclub where models, crew, guests partied the night away.http://www.karma.ie/
