Pintxo coverage in Tatler

Tuesday ......

Last night saw the launch of not one but two games. Now bscene would not be the biggest gamer in the world but being the die hard social people we are we decided to check out the first of the two parties taking place.

EA Games launched a new FIFA game in the ultra cool ‘Krystle’ on Harcourt Street. This trendy venue not normally open on a Tuesday evening looked very much different with the various game consoles placed throughout the venue next to big egg shaped bond villain type chairs. Bud Light was on hand to refresh people after a long day.

HALO 3 launched just over the road in THE POD. This venue has gone through many various refits over the years but the basic look has remained the same. We wondered how many where there for the game launch, Ashai beer ,Mickey Finns coctails & how many where there for a look at special guest ‘ Macgyver / Stargate ‘ actor Richard Dean Anderson who had be flown in to promote the event. Sadly he was still a no show by the time the bscene bloggers left.

Guess Fashion Show 2007 A/W

The Guess Autumn Winter collection for 2007 kicked off the week’s social diary with a fashion show in Fire restaurant.

Former Guess model and play girl Victoria Silvstedt mingled with guest, thrilled press while posing for pictures with fashionistas.
West coast Cooler & Coors Light was on hand to help wash down the wonderful food on hand from FIRE.

The show styled by Sinead Keenan with ‘Brown Sugar’ on hand for make up and ‘Hessions’ for hair moved at a nice pace showcasing the best in store for this season. Although it was a Monday evening an ‘un-official’ after show party was generated by fashion lovers in Ron Blacks directly across from the venue. Overall an excellent start to a week.

bscene TV

So last night being a slow Monday Bscene took advantage and had some much needed R&R with a lot of TV...

Britain’s next top model came to a close last night, we have to be honest and admit that this whole series went by un noticed to us so tuning in for the final episode we where surprised to see that the two left where the best of the bunch. Lauran pictured above was crowned this year’s winner.

Totally Jodie Marsh saw model Matt Peacock marry Jodie Marsh. Blog watchers will remember Matt from the ‘Littlewoods Ireland Fashion Shows’ http://www.littlewoodsireland.ie/
that ran recently with Bscene in association with Boss Models.

A lot of hype is being made about the launch of series one of ‘The Tudors’.
Well done to TV3 for screening this long before other channels and it is wonderful to see such a big budget show being shot in Ireland. Anything that generates more work and chances for Irish talent we are right behind. Bscene caught the first few episodes of this while on a visit stateside and to be honest we didn’t think it was all that… but hey.

‘Brothers & Sisters’ on the other hand is excellent, don’t you just love E4 first look idea... A fantastic cast and if you’re watching on CH4 / E4 watch out for bscene’s Andrew Hale popping up before and after each commercial break for the shows sponsor ;-)
